Kill Me Thrill Me

With trails taking forever to melt due to the massive amounts of snow Whistler had this winter, we have been waiting long enough for the brown pow to come out and bring a smile to our faces. It didn't take long for the word to get around that one of the best trails in Whistler was open. Kill Me Thrill Me, the trail that lives up to its name. It throws every part of mountain bike riding at you from roots, rocks, techy climbs, jumps, rock rolls, pinches, bridges and so much more. You don't climb a lot like the Flank trail - more contour and punch sections.

Rock faces are one thing; Whistler and Canadian rock rolls are another: steep faces with moss and loam to greet you at the end of every roll. Now a lot of the time to get on to a rock you need a what? North shore bridge! Ahhh, Canada and their endless bridges that can sometimes have a drop gap sea saw in them. The one below is a entry to one of the well-known rock rolls with a skinny bridge 6 inches wide to the top of the rock, then you roll off down to another bridge hooting you into a rooted corner.

The Run off the rock!

The End of the trail with endless boulders to ride, slide, hop, skid, whatever you can to get down in one piece! Tony get some practice in!
